Introductory Module

I'm Carla Gabriela Sousa, Geography teacher at the Paços de Ferreira Secondary School (Portugal). In the current academic year I am teaching Geography at the 10th year of schooling, my students are between 14 and 17 years old. As the Geographer's office is the landscape/world I love to travel. As a Geography teacher I have a particular taste for Education for Sustainability, Environment and Climate Change and Risk and Disaster Management. I am an enthusiast for Information and Communication Technologies and I have invested in training in the areas of digital tools and active learning strategies. With this project, I intend to acquire skills that allow me to develop innovative teaching and learning scenarios, responding to the new challenges facing schools and teachers of the 21st century. I also intend to acquire more pedagogical and digital skills to train citizens for the 21st century.
